MJ Real Estate is a privately owned and privately funded property development and investment company, with over 20 years of real estate experience in both commercial and residential properties. We focus on acquiring undervalued assets both commercial and residential in Greater London, Kent and Essex regions and working with our professional team we seek to enhance the assets value through planning gain.  

 

Our focus is on Build to Rent. The development projects we convert/build, we aim to retain most of the residential units for rent on the open market to local people. We take pride in providing much-needed residential homes to an already undersupplied market.

MJ Real Estate’s journey started 15 years ago when the Founder Gareth Dominique, an RICS Chartered Surveyor, purchased his first property at the age of 20 and the business has organically grown slowly acquiring various residential and commercial properties over the years to form a balanced portfolio of income-producing assets.

We have a strong track record for identifying, acquiring and optimising development and investment opportunities. We aim to achieve strong capital growth over the medium to long term, whilst achieving and maintaining an income stream.

Our Process

We mainly acquire undervalued assets such as: Offices, Retail shops, Land, Garages, Industrial units, Airspace, Public Houses, Leisure facilities and residential.

We start by identifying property assets that either have residential use opportunity or asset management optimisation to visualize our acquisition plan for the property. This allows us to visualize and prioritise our acquisition pipeline, ensuring each property is aligned with our broader investment and growth strategy.

Planning Strategy

Our planning and architectural team will be engaged to formulate our planning strategy and the production of drawings capturing our vision for the property. This ensures that each acquisition moves forward with a defined design narrative and a strong foundation for securing planning approvals.

Construction 

Upon achieving successful planning permission, our dedicated delivery team will begin construction of the development. We maintain a close focus on ensuring the development is executed in line with the approved vision—upholding quality, design integrity, and timely delivery.

Completion & Asset Management

Every detail is carefully perfected to ensure each home is fully ready for occupation. Our focus extends beyond delivery, with a dedicated asset management approach that safeguards the long-term performance of the property while providing an exceptional living experience for tenants.
